The birth of your newborn baby is a beautiful time in your life that you will never forget … let us help you capture those very precious early days.
We offer both the very natural curled up, sleepy shots, together with the more creative element to newborn photography using our beautiful props, all of which can be seen below.
Our newborn photography is up to 4 weeks young, with our favourite time between 6 and 12 days.
If you have not yet had your baby … we would recommend booking a date around your due date. This can be changed if necessary once your little bundle of joy arrives.
Newborn photography sessions are up to 3 hours allowing for feeding, soothing and cuddles throughout.
We realise how very precious your newborn baby is to you and we take the greatest care during the session, and ensure that the studio is kept lovely and warm. ALL sessions can include sibling and family shots, and package prices (as shown below) include as many props as you like and all editing/retouching required. We discuss in full your requirements at the start of your session.
There is nothing more to pay if you book one of our sale packages – prices shown below. You can order additional images once you’ve seen all your images if you wish and you can request to see the prices for these prior to booking.
We offer albums, photo books, canvases, blocks, folios – if you would like more info on any of these, please get in touch.
Following your photo session with Shy Violet Photography, a Gallery of images will be online for 3 weeks on our Customer Only GALLERY website where you will be able to view your images in the privacy of your own home, and as many times as you like.

Our Sale Packages are for studio based photo sessions, but we can also offer MOBILE NEWBORN Photo sessions in the comfort of your own home – We bring our studio to you. Please contact Gaynor for a price.

All packages include props as supplied by the photographer or you are welcome to bring your own too.
All 1 hour shoots include 1 backdrop. All 1.5 hour shoots include 2 backdrops. Please advise on booking if you would like more.
A deposit of £49 is payable on booking as your deposit, with the balance of your chosen package payable on the day of your photoshoot.
