All our package options can include family, sibling and fur baby shots too, at no extra charge. These are done on a mini natural backdrop – cream in colour with a cream wood look floor.
My very favourite time to capture your newborn baby is between 6 and 14 days, during this stage they are still sleeping soundly for those adorable curly sleepy shots we all love. I am happy to go to up to 4 weeks and if you feel your newborn is still sleeping soundly after feeds after this time, then please do get in touch. We allow much time for cuddling and feeding during our newborn photo shoots.
My studio is in Springhead, Oldham, OL4, Greater Manchester – a lovely cosy studio, airy and bright and warm too to keep your little precious bundles toasty and snug.
I love all forms of newborn photography – from the very natural white / ivory shots with little to no props, which I call The White Collection – to the more creative composite shots, which I call Swings and Things. Composite shots include swing, pails, baskets and lots more – all done in Photoshop after your newborn photoshoot. There is a choice of 4 galleries on the website – if you go to the Galleries tab – 4 Gallery options will appear in the dropdown menu – and you can see my style and various options for the newborn photo shoot.

The adorable Esmé came to see me at just 7 days young – what a little cutie and although she didn’t sleep all the way thru … we got some gorgeous images – some of which you can see below.

Our studio is very warm, light and airy, and with lots of soft seating, soft toys, rugs and refreshments you will feel immediatey at ease.
We are based in Springhead, Oldham, OL4 5TB click here to take you to a short video of our studio. The studio is on the first floor of the building so there are steps up. It doesn’t mean you can’t bring a pram … with a bit of effort we can get it up the stairs.
We cater for all Newborn image options and have 4 galleries on the website showing you our style … from the very natural white/ivory images with little to no props, to the more creative composite images called ‘Swings and Things’ – You will find Galleries on the Top Tabs on the website – then choose one to view.
Our Newborn Photo Shoots go up to 4 weeks with our favourite time to capture your newborn being between 6 and 12 days.
If you baby has been born early then the 4 week rule may not apply … and also if your baby is still sleeping well after feeds it still might not be too late after the 4 week threshold. You can always all me to discuss. We only say up to 4 weeks old, as newborn babies are so much more alert at this time and it’s not so easy to get the sleepy curled up shots we all love if they are not asleep.

The 1st birthday cake smash is still one of the best fun ways to celebrate your little one’s milestone 1st birthday.
I call my cake smash photoshoots my 3-in-1 HAPPIMESS Shoot as it includes 3 shoots as 1 – the ONE wooden letters, the cake smash followed by the Tub /Splash photoshoot. And I love mess … the messier the better!
The Woodland theme is very popular and I supply all the props and have a couple of outfits you can borrow too. You can also order one of our standard cakes The chocolate log cake is fantastic for this shoot (Made by a cake maker) … but you are also welcome to bring your own cake to the photoshoot.

After 15 years of cake smashing, it is still one of the best fun ways to celebrate your little one’s milestone 1st birthday.

HalfWay to One Photoshoot
Becoming increasingly popular is the Halfway to One Photoshoot – the 6 months milestone.
It’s such a wonderful time for your baby’s photoshoot capturing their development … and it’s a real smiley, giggly time when personality is really shining through. A really lovely time for a photo shoot and one of my favourite shoots.
Your baby is learning to sit up at this 6 months stage … but don’t worry if your baby hasn’t quite managed it yet, we have lots of baby chairs and rockers to help and also arms of parents can easily be edited out to stop them from falling backwards (or sideways).
Our studio is a lovely warm, bright and airy space, specially designed so that it looks like a soft play area for your baby – soft toys and props are on show in the studio so you have lots of choice for your photoshoot. And you are welcome to bring along any props you’d like involved … and of course your pets too if you wish.
On arrival, we discuss the shots that you’d like before we start. I have various backdrops that you can choose from too, many of which can be seen in the gallery of images – to view please Click here. I have a few outfits we can use and many many props, I have toys to make them giggle and laugh … but you are welcome to bring their favourites to encourage their best smiles.

Following each shoot, a gallery of images is uploaded to my gallery only website for you and from here you can choose your favourites – the gallery stays on for 3 weeks so you can revisit as many times as you like and offer viewing to extended family too.

I have a large airy studio which is very welcoming and full of soft seating, and more importantly heated for your little newborn baby – I keep them very warm during the shoot so don’t worry about them being cold, but I do ask that you bring one of your own warm blankets too.
I’ve been photographying newborn babies for well over 20 years and have accumlated many wonderful and beautiful outfits and props that you can choose form prior to the newborn session (on your arrival). Most of the images shown on the website galleries are my outfits and you are welcome to use whatever you like on the day.
Not only do I do the natural newborn images on ivory, creams and whites, I also offer a composite selection which can be seen in the ‘Swings & Things’ gallery. I have 4 galleries to choose from with Classic & Natural being the first, followed by the White Collection, Swings & Things, and Family & Pets.
