Your Newborn Photoshoot

Welcome to Shy Violet Photography – run by me, Gaynor

I have been specialising in Newborn and Baby Photography since 2006 and love it as much now as I did when I started … probably more so.

So much so that I have now created www.tinyvioletsphotography.co.uk.   This is my new website dedicated to Newborn Photography – and prices are published on this website too (same as shown on Shy Violet Photography).

.My favourite time to capture your newborn baby is between 6 and 12 days – and I do go up to 4 weeks.  Newborn photoshoots are all about capturing their tiny features and newborn appearance … and if newborns are not asleep it’s very hard to keep an awake newborn in a lovely curled up sleepy position.  After 2 weeks, newborns are so much more alert and after 4 they just do not sleep enough for us to achieve the best images of your newborn baby.

I welcome siblings and dogs to jjoin in and of course full family pics too. All package options for Newborn Photos on the website can include family, sibling and shots with your furry friends.  I love dogs and enjoy creating the newborn images with furry best friends.

On booking, I ask you to book a package – my package options can be viewed by clicking here.  This is the newborn page on my website and will also show you my image gallery and the various styles I offer. ALL packages can include sibling and family shots too if you wish.

I offer all the natural shots on the backdrops/blankets, with and without props, and also provide the more creative side too – examples of which can be seen below and on our website –  Click here to view. I offer all the props and backdrops shown here at no additional charge to the package prices stated on the website. And have been investing in new little outfits – a few of which can be seen below.

Following your Newborn baby photoshoot with Shy Violet Photography, a Gallery of images will be online for 3 weeks on our Customer Only GALLERY website where you will be able to view your images in the privacy of your own home, and as many times as you like.  And from here you choose your favourites including your free Christmas image.
