A newborn baby photoshoot is not just about pictures – it’s about preserving the essence of your baby’s first days.

There’s something magical about a newborn baby; their tiny fingers and toes, soft skin and sweet, squishy little expressions create the most wonderful photographs.  A fleeting stage in life and the perfect opportunity to capture beautiful photographs that you and your family can treasure always.

When it comes to your newborn baby, their safety and comfort comes first.  I am an experienced newborn baby photographer of over 23 years and I ensure that your baby is handled gently and safely.  My studio is designed with comfort in mind. I know that newborns can be unpredictable, so I work at your baby’s pace, taking breaks as needed for feeding, soothing, or diaper changes. This ensures the experience is stress-free for you and your baby, allowing us to get the best shots without rushing.

Over the years I have accumulated many beautiful outfits, props and accessories, all of which you can choose from at the start of your photoshoot at no extra cost; and most of which can be seen on the 3-4 Image galleries that you will find on this website. I offer the very natural shots to the more whimsical and creative ideas, all of which are discussed with you on booking.

Newborn sessions are best done within the first two weeks of life; my favourite time being between 5 and 12 days … as babies are still incredibly small and sleepy during this time.  I am happy to go to 3 weeks, but after this your baby becomes very much more alert. If your baby is older than 3 weeks but you feel they are sill sleeping soundly after feeds, then please get in touch to discuss.
