Newborn Baby Photos are priceless …such a very special time in your life and I just love to capture them so tiny and gorgeous in the lovely curled up, sleepy positions we all love.
My favourite time to capture your newborn baby is between 6 and 12 days as this is a wonderful age as a rule as still sleeping soundly, particularly after feeds … but my Newborn Baby PhotoShoots go up to babies who are 4 weeks young but if your baby is slightly older and still sleeping well after feeds, please feel free to call me to discuss.
If you have not yet had your baby, I recommend that you book in based on your due date and then if this changes, we move your Newborn shoot date. You do not lose your deposit if we do have to rearrange.
My newborn baby photoshoots are very relaxed – you will not be kept waiting – you will be straight in and I make you a brew and we can have a chat about what you’d like from your photo session. My studio is designed to make you feel relaxed and comfortable with lots of soft seating – and also offer chairs next to the newborn shoot area so that you can watch what I am doing all the time.
I offer family shots too in each package at no extra charge, and even if this is something you think you might like, come camera ready just in case :).
I offer the natural shots on blankets with and without props … through to the more creative Newborn Art images. Examples of which can be seen in the gallery of images – Click here. Our ‘HAPPIMESS’ 3-in1 1st Birthday Cake Smash photoshoot is the best and funniest way to celebrate their 1st Birthday. Letting them loose on a big bright and very gooey cake – what could be more fun? Watching their reactions is priceless.
We can start everything off with a mini family portrait shoot – just 2-3 pics on a mini backdrop (either taupe or grey) … just ask on booking.
We then focus on your little one … and I start with the ‘I am One photoshoot’. I have some large wooden letters which can be turned to virtually any colour in the post edit – you’ll see lots of different variations in my cake smash gallery – click here to view. I also have a large floral ‘1’ for the girls, and smaller wooden letters if preferred. We discuss which you’d like to use at the start of every session and I have sample images in the studio for you to view too.
And then I bring on the cake … each package INCLUDES one of our standard cakes as shown in the pics below in a choice of colours (your choice) – but you can order other cakes too for a little extra – all shown on the website together with package costs – click here to view.

Once your little one has had enough of cake smashing, we then put them into my posing roll top baby bath, leaving as much cake on them as poss to start with … put the bubbles on and let them enjoy themselves. We wash them off as we go 🙂

If you are thinking about booking a Baby PhotoShoot, now is a great time to get your little one photographed in time to make some wonderful Christmas Gifts 🙂
We usually start our Baby PhotoShoots from around 5-6 months – as at this age, your baby is learning to sit up and although perhaps not able to sit up unaided, we have baby chairs that can help with this, and PhotoShop which can edit out parents’ arms making sure they don’t fall. And at this age, personality is really taking shape and it’s an age I just love to photograph.
My studio baby photo sessions are very relaxed in a lovely warm, bright and airy environment, specially designed so that it looks like a soft play area for your baby – soft toys and props are on show in the studio so you have lots of choice for your photoshoot.
For the Baby PhotoShoot I provide chairs, suitcases, pails and other props such as ‘rocking horse’, hats, balloons …. lots and lots of choice for you … many of which can be seen in the gallery of images on the Baby Photo Shoot Page – click here to view.
You can include a few Chistmas themed pics if you like too – we have some gorgeous little wooden trees which make a very simple Chritmas backdrop.
On arrival, we discuss the shots that you’d like before we start. I have various backdrops that you can choose from too, many of which can be seen in the gallery of images – to view please Click here. We have created a very informal, warm and relaxed studio, where you and your family will immediately feel at ease, and developed a family ‘friendly’ photshoot that will almost distract you from the camera and flash lights. We guarantee you will have fun and ALL our customers say they thoroughly enjoy the experience. All family shoots can include the furry members of your family.
And we have lots of choices and ideas/ colours and designs for you and your children.
We are happy to offer a Combination Photo Shoot, where we can incorporate family shots on the white or grey (grey shown below) and another option for your little ones – ideas are Bubbles Shoot, Vintage Shoot, Fun Shoot on a Colour of your choice using balloons, pompoms, bunting.
